Bertha Alice Dukes

Mrs. Bertha Alice Dukes departed this life on Saturday November 5, 2019 after an extended illness. She was born in Blackshear (Pierce County), GA to the late Agier & Virginia Hall Pearson.
She grew up in Ware County, GA where she received her formal education from the Waycross Public School System.
Mrs. Dukes was a very loving and caring person. Her congenial character won a place lace in the heart of those that was privilege to have known her. She loved her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three children, Vincent Dukes, Elleanore Dukes and Vonda Dukes.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Walter Dukes Sr. of Waycross; five children, Brenda Revis (Eddie) of Augusta, Ga, Walter Dukes Jr., Carlene (Connie) Ramsey, Don Dukes and Art Dukes all of Waycross; a brother, George Pearson of Brunswick, Ga.; a God daughter, Debra Wells of Waycross; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Alice Dukes will be held Saturday October 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm at New White Hall Community Holiness Church in Waycross, GA.
