Bishop David Williams, Sr.

Bishop David Williams, Sr., age 91, of Waycross, GA, was called from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 2, 2020 after an illness.

Bishop David Williams Sr. was born July 8, 1928 in Waycross, GA to the late Dave Willliams and Rebecca Williams Williams.

 In addition to his wife, Mother Estella Britton Williams and Cortney Lee Williams, his parents , Dave and Rebecca Williams. He was preceded in death by children, Bishop Leroy Williams, Willie Henry Williams, Kenneth Tyrone Williams; daughter-in-law, Brenda Williams; son-in law, Bishop Joe Blue.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Apostle Ron Williams, David Williams Jr., Jimmy Lee Williams, Michael Williams (Eileen), Pastor Timothy Williams (Claudette), Barbara Jean Jenkins, Apostle Diane Blue all of Waycross, John Henry Williams Sr. (Gladys),Milton Williams Sr. (Anne), Pamela Williams all of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and Daniel Williams Jr. (Diane) of South Carolina. A host of forty four grandchildren, ninty one great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren; a brother, Cleveland Williams of Claxton, Ga.; a special niece, Mother Ruby Lee King of Waycross; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2020 at  2:00 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery. 2410 Alice Street. Apostle Janice Thomas will give  words of comfort.
