Brother Bruce Wiggs was born June 24, 1953 in Folkston (Charlton County), Georgia to the late Deacon William Hosea Wiggs Jr. and Minnie Lee Jones Wiggs. He received his formal education from Charlton County Pubic School System.
In November of 1972 he was enlisted in the U.S. Army where after serving his duty he received an honorable discharge. After leaving the Army he returned to Folkston where he was employed in various jobs. Bruce loved sport and fishing. He also love riding his bike all around town. His favorite saying was “I’m a Cave Man).
He departed this life on Sunday July 5, 2020 at his residence. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Marie Wiggs.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Nicole Marie Wiggs of Folkston, Ga.; three grandchildren, Natiqua Wiggs, Teonia Wiggs and Tony Gordon lll all of Folkston, Ga.; his siblings, Deacon William Wiggs,111 of Atlanta, Ga., Susie Atwater (John), angel Redmon, Earl Wiggs (Patricia), Cathy Arline and Curtis Wiggs (Vonda) all of Folkston, Ga.;a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends include special friends, martin Monroe Jr., Martha Lovett and Roberta Henry all of Folkston, Ga.
Graveside service for Bro. Wiggs will be held Sunday June 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Mt. Carmel Memorial Garden, Folkston, Ga. with Bishop John Scott bring words of comfort.
