Constance "Connie" (Richardson) Franklin

Mother Constance "Connie" Richardson Franklin, age 70, of Homerville, GA, went to her heavenly home on November 3, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Homerville, GA on Feb. 7, 1948 to the late James and Annie Bell Richardson. She received her formal education from the Homerville Public School System and graduated from Homerville High & Elementary School in 1966.

She is survived by her two sons, Shan Franklin of Homerville and Daniel Franklin (Teneka) of Lithonia, GA and grands and one great-grandchild. Her surviving siblings are Corine Fletcher, Statesboro, GA; Debra Richardson, San Luis Obispo, CA; Janice Love, Statesboro, GA; Lacey Richardson, Citrus Heights, CA; Tracey Richardson, Jacksonville, FL; seven surviving sisters-in-law Freda Richardson; Denise Richardson; Linda Richardson; Agnes Williams; Leatha Williams; Joan Edmonds; Susie Ford; five brothers-in-law Arthur Fletcher; Sam Love; Tony Franklin; Larry Franklin; Michael Franklin.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, November 10, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Prayer Garden Church of God in Christ 711 Forest Ave. with church pastor, Elder Alfonzo Miller, bringing words of comfort.

Friends are being received at the Franklin residence 458 Forest Ave. and on Saturday Nov. 9, 2019, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Fluker Funeral Home:15 Robinson Street, Homerville, GA.
Mrs. Franklin will lay in repose Sunday at the church from 9 a.m. to the hour of service. Internment will be in Pine Forest Cemetery.
