Leroy Johnson, Jr.

Mr. Leroy Johnson Jr., age 70, of Homerville, GA, transitioned on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Waycross Health & Rehab Center after an illness.

He was born November 23, 1949 to the late Leroy Johnson Sr. and Josephine Paulk Johnson. He grewup in Homerville, Ga. where he received his formal education from the Clinch County Public School System.

He moved to Waycross, Ga. where he was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and served on the usher board. He was a former employee of the City of Waycross and Carolina Skiff  Boat manufactory.

Surviors include his children, Leroy Johnson lll, Stephane Johnson, Felicia Johnson Ingram all of Homerville, Ga. and Quincy Cooper Sr. (Kiera) of Durham, N.c. : sisters, Linda Crosland, Cathy Johnson both of Homerville, Ga., Mamie Locklear of Lakeland, Ga. and Sara Morris of Waycross, Ga.; twenty three grandchildren; eleven   great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fluker Funeral Home. 15 Robinson St. Homerville, GA.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Prayer Garden Church of God. 711 w Forest ave. Homerville, GA.
