MR. ALBERT JACKSON WILLIAMS

Albert Williams, Sr. was born January 21, 1958, in Waycross, GA. He was the youngest child of eight children born to the late Jonas Williams Sr. and Frances Marie Jackson Williams. Also preceding him in death were three children Delatia Williams, Allen Williams, and Albert Williams, Jr.: four siblings Stella Williams, Jerome Williams, Arthur Williams, Sr. and Eddie Williams, Sr.

Albert received his formal education from the Waycross Public School System and graduated from Waycross High School in 1976. At an early age, he joined the Church of Christ in Albuquerque, NM. He was later affiliated with Solid Rock Church under Pastor Lawrence Hill. He was a former laborer for CSX Transportation as well as Wayne Thrift Plumbing and built homes in the family business of Williams & Sons for a number of years.

He transitioned to be with the Lord Saturday, May 20, 2023, unexpectedly in Waycross after an accident.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son Andrew Williams; siblings Martha Jean Umphrey (Albert), of Las Vegas, NV, Jonas Williams, Jr. (Sharon), Nancy Marie Powell (Robert), one sister-in-law Irma Williams; one uncle Walter Johnson; one aunt Valerie Foster all of Waycross; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

 Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, 11:00 am at Barnar Cemetery in Waycross, GA. Please keep the family in prayer during this difficult time.
