Mr. Anthony "Skeeter" Reaves was born on July 17, 1959, in Waycross, Georgia, to the late Eva Taylor and J. Lee Reaves. He departed this life on June 3, 2025.
Anthony had a deep love for sharing the gospel and often preached to family and friends. In the early 1970s, he relocated to Daytona Beach, Florida, where he became affectionately known as “The House Doctor.” He had a gift for turning scraps into treasures and saw potential in everything. His passion for home improvement left a lasting mark on the community, transforming countless spaces into masterpieces.
After many years in Daytona Beach, Anthony returned home to Waycross, settling once again on Effie Street — the very street where he was born and raised.
Anthony leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and faith. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Andrea Anderson of Daytona Beach, FL; his beloved grandson, Israel Spaulding; his caring sisters, Linda Reaves-Wims (Ricky Wims) of Waycross, GA, and Joyce Reaves-Williams of Daytona Beach, FL; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
His life and light will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Please continue keep the family in prayer during this difficult time.
