MR. ARTHUR GIBBS, JR.

Arthur Gibbs, Jr. was born on April 24th, 1958 to the late Arthur Gibbs, Sr. and Betty Ann Nixon Gibbs in Folkston, Georgia.

He received his formal education in Charlton County.

He worked at WalMart Distribution Center in Douglas, Georgia until his health began to fail. Arthur became a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Fer-Rell Malone, Sr.

 He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Nixon Gibbs and his father, Arthur Gibbs, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a step[1]mom, Mrs. Mary Gibbs of Folkston, Georgia; a dedicated and devoted wife, Diana Taylor Gibbs of Waycross, Georgia; six daughters: Casley Honester of St. Marys, Georgia; Aysiah, Kaela, Breighanna and Nevaeh Gibbs all of Hinesville, Georgia; and Emma C. Gibbs of Waycross, Georgia; one sister, Charlette Jones (Willie) of Jesup, Georgia; three aunts, Mrs. Willie Pearl Small (Joe) of Jacksonville, Florida; Mrs. Minnie Mobley (Rickie) and Ms. Dorothy Nixon of Folkston, Georgia; four uncles, Mr. Virgil Nixon (Lois) of Folkston, Georgia; Mr. Ulysses Nixon (Bonnie) of Macclenny, Florida; Mr. Richard Nixon (Shirleyann) of Folkston, Georgia and Mr. Harry Nixon (Louise) of Phoenix City, Alabama; a mother-in-law, Ms. Verna Ross of Waycross, Georgia; a brother-in-law, Mr. Tyree Taylor of Brandon, Florida; a sister-in-law, Ms. Alicia Taylor of Brandon, Florida; two grandchildren, Ms. Tydreanta Maxwell and Ms. Makiya Love of St. Marys, Georgia; two great grandchildren, Arya Love and De’Khari Maxwell of St. Marys, Georgia; and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.
