MR. FELEPE JOHNSON MURPHY

Felepe Johnson Murphy was born August 31, 1964, to the late Donald and Arlene Murphy in Waycross, Georgia.  Their youngest child of six, he departed this earthly realm of life Thursday, December 29, 2022, at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville after an illness.  He received his formal education from Waycross Public School system.  Felepe was united in marriage to Barbara McTier Murphy. 

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Tara Rice and April Gardner, two nephews; Cornelius Gardner and Jonas Williams, III.  

Survivors include his wife Barbara Murphy; one brother, Donald Murphy, Jr. (Cleo); two sisters, Sharon Williams (Jonas Jr.) and Robin Murphy; one sister-in-law, Betty Farmer; one close nephew, Fredrick Gardner; one nephew-in-law, Teddy Stokes; one close cousin, Ann McKinnon;  one uncle, Gus Bobbitt; two aunts, Margaret Murphy and Louise Washington; one adopted daughter, Kanetra Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
