MR. GLEN PHILLIP HOLLMON

Mr. Glen Phillip Hollmon was born October 24, 1956, to the late Lois and Glen Hollmon.  At very young age he became a Christian attending church faithfully with family.  Upon moving to Atlanta Glen joined Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was a Waycross Bulldog, class of 1974.  There he played football, a member of DCT Club, and the graduation committee. Glen worked for CSX for thirty-five years upon retiring. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, carpentry and playing in the Wild & Peaceful band, where he was original member.  His greatest pleasures were his love for horses, family and friends. Preceding him in death his brother-in-law, Hicks Hollmon. He leaves to cherish his memory is his wife of twenty-three years, Desha Hollmon; brothers, Abdulah Shah, and James “Jimmy” Hollmon; brothers-in-law, Bro. Cornnis V. Crawford (Patricia), and Bro. Brannon Crawford; sisters-in-law, Sis. Antrinnine Pinto (Oscar); an aunt, Gloria Hollmon; a special salute to Prient Hollmon, Symantha Hollmon, Tasha & Zhaloyn Peterson; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
