Henry Lee Howard Sr., affectionately known as “Bull,” was born on April 1, 1948, in Millwood, Georgia, to the late Mack Howard Sr. and the late Vaslona Brown Cooper. On [date of passing], he departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and hard work.
Henry received his formal education in the Waycross Public School System, where he attended and graduated from Center High School. During his high school years, he became well known for his strategic football skills, earning the nickname “Bull.”
After high school, Henry began a long and dedicated career with CSX Railroad, where he worked as a machine train mechanic. With hard work and commitment, he served for 35 years before retiring.
Henry was a devoted family man. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pearlie Jean Ellis Howard, known as “Minnie,” married on December 27th, with whom he shared over 47 years of marriage before her passing. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cassandra Howard.
Those left to cherish his memory include his three devoted sons: Jeremy White (Trina), Lavelle Terrell Howard (Sandra), and Henry Lee Howard Jr. (Kendra). His legacy continues through his twelve beloved grandchildren: Rasheed White, Jeremy White Jr., Tiberius Howard, Andrea Howard, Onacia Howard, Marcus Howard, Jabari Howard, Monterias Howard, Samaya Howard, Jaylen Howard, Ian Howard, and Aiden Howard. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren; his loving brother, Calvin Cooper (Raynell) of Savannah, Georgia, along with a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
Henry Lee Howard Sr. will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his strength, wisdom, and kindness. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
