Mr. James Jenkins, Sr. was born March 28, 1940, to the late Mamie Hadden Jenkins in Louisville, Georgia. He was the fifth child out of eleven children, seven brothers and three sisters. In later years he moved to Waycross, Georgia and was employed at Heirs Plaining Mill for 25 years.
Mr. James Jenkins met and married Minnie Lee Burse on November 2, 1963. To this union four children were born, one daughter preceded him in death Isadore Maria Jenkins.
Left to cherish his memory include his children; son Anthony Jenkins, a very sweet and devoted daughter Tangie Jenkins of Waycross, Ga; son James Jenkins, Jr. of Coca Beach, Fl; and a beloved daughter Brenda Jenkins of Boca Raton, Fl; devoted sister Sally Mae Braddy of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
