MR. JOHN ROBERT LINDER, JR.

John Robert Linder, Jr. died unexpectedly on January 2, 2023 at Memorial Satilla Health Hospital, at the age of 73. He was born March 20, 1949 in Jeff Davis County, Georgia to the late Robert Linder, Sr. and Odessa Rainey Clark. John was educated in the Jeff Davis County School System. Upon his completion from high school, he pursued a trade in Auto Mechanics. He was the owner of a mechanic shop for 40 years. John loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, and his favorite pastime was watching wrestling. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Linder, Sr., and brother, Ira Linder. John leaves loving memories to be cherished in the hearts of his mother, Odessa Clark of Hazlehurst, GA; two sons: Greg Kurtz (Victoria) of Union City, GA and Tony Linder of Gwinnett County, GA; three daughters: Jan Flectcher Linder (Jarion) of Douglas, GA, Ann Linder of Gwinnett County, GA, and Breyona Linder of Decatur, GA; three sisters: Susie Critton of Atlanta, GA, Truly Hamilton (Wil Bumpy) of Atlanta, GA, and Cynthia Brockington (Kentice) of Douglas, GA; three brothers: Jeffery Linder (JoAnn) of Atlanta, GA, Henry Clark (Sonya) of Hazlehurst, GA, and George Bennett (Ann) of Darien, GA; fiancé, Betty Outlaw Miller of Hazlehurst, GA. He also leaves to cherish his memory with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 10:00 am Philadelphia Methodist Church Cemetery, 185 Addis Rowell Rd. in Hazelhurst, Georgia 31539.
