Mr. Moses "Don" Ladon Studivent Sr. was born on August 8, 1953, to the late Isom and Minnie Nelson Studivent. A graduate of Waycross High School Class of 1972, he was known as an exceptional athlete and later served in the U.S. Navy. He worked with the Ware County School System and was affectionately known as 'Mr. Don.' He loved family, friends, sports, music, laughter, and bringing joy to others.
After graduating “ Don” as he was affectionately known, went to explore and joined the navy. After his completion in the navy he moved back home. He was employed with the Ware County Public School System. he was an janitor at Alice St Elementary for years. The kids there loved MR. Don and he loved the kids. He did traveling work, selling tools, he later moved to Elizabeth, New Jersey where he did factory work for years. Moses returned home and worked awhile and retired. Moses was a Jokester, he loved to joke, jive and nick pick, he would keep you laughing. he loved to sit around and sip with friends and family. He loved his western movies ; his werewolves, and vampires movies. And he loved to watch his sports. Moses loved to sit and listen to music. Keyshia Cole ( Heaven Sent ) was his favorite. He also attended the Nelson Greene Center, he loved those women and they loved him also.
In addition to his parents, Moses was preceded in death by eleven siblings , Geraldche Elvira Wilson, Marian Studivent Sr, Mary S. White, Nathaniel Studivent Sr, Warren Studivent Sr, Charles (WC) Studivent. Isom Studivent Jr, Richard Clem Studivent Sr, Christopher Studivent , Billy Ray Studivent Sr, Robert Studivent Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory three sons, Travis Cooper Sr. (Monica) , Torris Lane ( Robin) Moses Ladon Studivent Jr. (Cletecia). Eight grands, Zamora Studivent, Unique Cooper Jr, Torriona Lane, Alisha Lane, Keyona Lane, And David Lane , and a host of great grands. His nieces and nephews , four of those whom was raised up in the same home. Catherine White ( Deena), Ilya Corbin ( Preston) (Dirty Red) , Kimberly Rivers ( Lorenzo) Birby Lothianne, Kenneth Studivent ( Rocky Redd). Friends/nep, Leonard Mitchell, Leonard Rawls, Calvin Studivent, Omar Studivent, David Dunson, Joe Morgan, Dempsey “Bubba “ Wallace, Scott Staten, William “ Bill” Reeder and host of cousins.
