Oliver Paul Miller was born May 14, 1938, in Folkston, Georgia to Rosie McNair Miller and P.J. Miller.
He attended the public school system of Homerville, GA. He was employed with the Kennedy Timber Service for 50 years until his health failed. He was a hard, dedicated and faithful workers.
He was married to Viola Miller for 50 years. What a union. Oliver transitioned from this earthly life to his eternal life in Glory on Thursday February 1, 2024, at Clinch Memorial Hospital in Homerville, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years Mrs. Viola Miller; four sons: Oliver (Quatialis) Monroe of Lakeland, GA, Paul Miller of Douglasville, GA, Stanley (April) Miller of Marietta, GA and Herbert (Kandis) Mingo of Douglas, GA; five girls: Patricia Taylor of Marietta, GA, Edythe Miller of Douglasville, GA, Melissa (Harrison) Jackson and Melinda (Dillil) Carter of Homerville, GA; two children he raised as his own Latrisha Mingo and De’Andre Mingo of Homerville, GA. 23 Grandchildren, 46 Great grandchildren and 3 Great great grandchildren; extended families the Wells of Homerville, GA and Thomas Wilson Eldridge of Fargo; Special friend Mr. Allen Kennedy of Homerville, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.. Please continue to keep the family in prayer during this difficult time.
