MR. PURCELL DASHER

Bro. Purcell Dasher “Nanny” was born on July 27, 1953 to the late Simon Haywood and Lena Mae Dasher in Folkston, GA (Charlton County). Purcell Dasher was a member of Pinkney Chapel United Methodist Church. He worked in construction most of his life along with many other skills that allowed him to be a “jack of all trades”. “Nanny” as he was affectionately known by family and close friends, will always be remembered for the fun loving, up front and honest person that he was. He was always willing to help anyone that he could. You never had to wonder where he stood on anything. He always put family first and did what he could to help when his health would allow.

Purcell departed this life on January 20, 2023, at Folkston Park Nursing Home in Folkston, GA. He leaves to cherish his memory; a loving daughter Priscilla Walker (Fl); his faithful and loving sister Rosa Mae Jones (Richard Jones) Stone Mountain, Ga; a warm-hearted Aunt Pearl Walker, Folkston, Ga; spiritual cousin and faithful friend caregiver Lay Minister Joy Ware assisted by husband Oscar Ware and son Calvin Lee, Jr., Folkston, Ga; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 great nieces and a host of cousins and friends that will miss him immensely.
