Mother Bessie Lee Gipson Lewis left her earthly home on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in Waycross, GA. She was born on June 19, 1922, in Overton, Texas to the late Moses and Ameila Starr-Gipson.  

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in the Fluker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Waresboro Cemetery, Pineview Church Road, Waycross, GA 31503
