MRS. BETTY DEAN (DAVIS) POOLE

Mrs. Betty Dean Davis Poole was born August 14, 1948, in Waycross, Ga to the late Willie L. Davis and Viola Davis and was raised in the Waresboro Community. She received her formal education in the Ware County segregation school system and was a graduate of Center High School. 
    As her life began to start, she met Robert L. Poole and they were married in 1968. For many years Betty worked and later retired from Waycross College as a dedicated Environmental Services Employee. Betty had a huge love for her family, shopping, traveling and especially spoiling her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Robert L. Poole of Waycross, GA; God daughter/niece, Sarah R. McRae of Valdosta, GA; sister/caretaker, Wanda J. McRae of Waresboro, GA; brothers: Willie L. Davis of Waresboro, Ga and Ronald J. Davis (Elvie) of Katy, TX.; sister-in-laws: Ella Davis and Lelia Mae Baldwin, both of Waycross, GA, Ada Mae Mumford of Valdosta, GA, Margaret Chandler of West Park, Fl; a brother-in-law Tommy Poole (Angela) of St. Marys, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
