MRS. RONDA GAIL (BOLDEN) GORDON

Mrs. Ronda Gail Bolden Gordon,73, left her earthly home on Monday, June 5, 2023, in Stockbridge, GA. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Pine Forest Cemetery in Homerville, GA. Please keep the family in prayer during this difficult time.

Ronda Gail Gordon was born December 11, 1949, to Ora Dee and Charlie Lee Bolden. Ronda departed her earthly home peacefully in her sleep on June 5, 2023 in Stockbridge, GA.

Ronda was educated in the Clinch County School System. She was a first-generation Valedictorian after graduating from Homerville High School in 1967. She married the love of her life James Gordon, Jr., on June 2, 1968. Together, three children were born to this union: Suan “Booboo”, Charlotte, and Deidre. She was a lifelong member of Brown’s Chapel AME Church where she served on the usher board and Choir #2. She worked at Brockway for over 40 years until she relocated to Atlanta, GA.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She found joy in spending time with her family, playing cards, bingo, and watching her favorite television shows. Her signature phrases were “alright now” and “hey, hey, hey”, followed by her hearty laugh.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Rosa Lee Jackson, parents Ora Dee & Charlie Lee Bolden, husband James Gordon, Jr., son Suan “Booboo” Gordon, nephew Clayton Cross, and her sister Roberta Conyers. She leaves to cherish her memories, beautiful daughters Charlotte and Deidre, her granddaughters Brittany, Casey, Brandi, and LaShondra, great-grandchildren Pierre, Destiny, Perris, Pryce, Dynasty, Promise, Alexandria, Knowledge, and Donteé Jr., siblings Charlie Mae, Faylua (Benjamin), Lavell (Doris), William, Almarie, and Charlie, Aunt Maxine, the Gordon family, adopted daughters Rose and Kahmil, long time friend Willie, and a host of family and friends.
