Mrs. Sabrina Nicole Hamm was born on August 7, 1970, in Waycross, Georgia, to father, Allen James Hobbs Jr. and mother, Johnnie Mae Leggett. She was raised and educated in the Waycross public school system, graduating with the Class of 1988. She furthered her education at Okefenokee Technical College, earning an Associate of Applied Technology degree in Early Childhood Care and Education Paraprofessional, as well as an Associate of Applied Science degree in Surgical Technology. She continued her academic journey at the University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Service Management.
Sabrina dedicated her life to hard work, service, and faith. She had a heart full of love for children and worked at Center Elementary as a paraprofessional, making a positive impact on countless young lives. She was known for her favorite color purple, her love of butterflies and Hello Kitty, and the special place that her family held in her heart.
Sabrina’s life was complete when she met and married the love of her life, Mr. David Hamm. They shared life in a way that can only be described as “Genuine Love”. Having children, sharing life’s milestones and discovering life’s mysteries together, built a life of Sabrina dreamed of. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her sister Calanthia Hobbs Mayweather.
Sabrina leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Mr. David Hamm; beloved mother, Johnnie Mae Leggett; beloved father, Allen James Hobbs Jr. (Janie); her beloved and devoted children, Javon Hamm, Donan Hamm, Trinity Hamm and her loving step-daughter Eriyanna Hamm; four brothers, Allen James Hobbs III, Allen James Chatman and Derrick Chatman; two sisters, Addie Mae Dixon and Esters Williams; her in-laws, Allen Hamm (Keisha) and Heather Hamm; two granddaughters, Kinsley Hamm and Kahlia Hamm; three grandsons, Myles Hamm, Joseph Hamm and Josiah Hamm; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Sabrina’s life was a true reflection of faith, love, and service—values that will live on through all who knew and loved her.
