“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4
Mother Willie Williams was born on April 16, 1952, in Cordele, Georgia to the late Willie James Jackson and Godie Bell Godwin. Willie Lois lived a life marked by compassion, service, and joy.
She was educated in the Clinch County School System in Homerville, Georgia, and went on to serve her community for over 20 years as a dedicated nurse—a profession that perfectly suited her nurturing heart.
Willie Lois was united in holy matrimony to the late Alphonsa Williams, with whom she shared a life of love, faith, and family.
A devoted member of Faith Mission Deliverance Youth Center, under the leadership of Pastor Johnnie Mae Ellis, Willie Lois was affectionately known as “the camera lady,” faithfully capturing moments of worship and fellowship. She served her church with a joyful spirit and unwavering commitment.
Her vibrant personality was reflected in the many things she loved: cooking, fishing, tending to her garden plants, dancing, and singing one of her favorite songs “I left home to be with my sidepiece”. She brought joy, comfort, and fun wherever she went.
Other than her parents and husband, Willie Lois was preceded in death by her children Willie Lamar Williams and Michelle Williams, and her siblings Eddie Charles Jackson and John Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children: Delois Williams, Torrance Williams, Candy Clark, Justice Powell, Avion Clark, Tassannia Davis, and Arthur Posley Jr., as well as her daughter-in-law, Keisha Thomas-Williams.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Anton McCoggle, Tyreese Ingram, Darius Dorsey, Xavier Lewis, Quad Simmons, Tyana Dorsey, Kennedy Clark, Trennedy Clark, Karleigh Powell, and Kensleigh Powell.
She is also survived by a host of devoted siblings: Willie Charles Jackson (Annette), James Jackson, Jerry Jackson (Rebecca), Jimmy Jackson, Yvonne Thomas, Wendell Collins, Harrison Jackson (Melissa), Arlinda Edwards (Robert), Randy Jackson, Torrance Jackson (DeDe), and Lou Poole.
Her warm heart, quick smile, and enduring faith touched the lives of all who knew her and will be remembered for generations to come.
