A Time to be Born: Dea. William Alexander Hall began his life journey on June 8,1936 in Waycross, GA. He was the fifth child of the late Doll Tolbert Hall and the late Edgar Hall.
A Time to Love: He was married to Mary Carter Hall. Five children were born to this union, three sons and two daughters.
A Time to Build: A life- long resident of Ware County, William was educated in Waycross, graduating from Center High School, served in the U.S. Air Forces and attended the off-campus center of the University of Georgia.
He joined Church at the early age of 12. He served on the Deacon Board, serving as chairman of the Deacon Board, the Trustee Board and was financial secretary. He was a program committeeman for the No. 1 St. John Missionary Baptist Association Union Meeting and the City-Wide Annual Christmas Program.
A Time to Die: William fought a good fight, finished his race, kept his faith, and was awarded his crown of righteousness on September 10, 2023.
He was preceded in death by four sisters: Mary Bell Sams, Thelma Graham, Frances Duhart, and Lorine Robinson.
William leaves to cherish his memory: a very devoted wife, Marylou, of 67 years, five children: Phyllis Perry (Ralph) of Waycross, GA, Anthony Hall of Debary, FL, John Hall (Sonya) of Waycross, GA, Shirlean Barber (Christopher) of Kingsland, GA and Michael Hall of Blackshear, GA. Also mourning his passing are ten grandchildren, Eboni D. Lott (Sean); Tamika K. Campbell (Michael), Kito A. Perry (Crystal), Shawanda Lloyd, Steven A. Hall, Brianna A. Hall, Jamarl A. Glenn, Xavier D. Barber, Niki Briola and Tyrese Hall; ten great-grandchildren, Diamond Hall, Alexus Hall, Justina Hall, Raivan Lloyd, Terriyona Williams, Kristian Perry, Cadence Perry, Nylah Campbell, Kylr Perry, Rylee Lott; nieces and nephews (Gerald, Ann, Elaine, Larry, and Denise; relatives and friends.
Family and friends are being received at 913 Crescent Street starting daily starting at 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Please no food, but beverages are welcome. Masks are asked to be worn please. Please keep the family in prayer during this difficult time.
