MR. WILLIAM RAIFORD HENDERSON

William “Billy” Raiford Henderson of Waycross, GA, passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 79. A proud Morehouse College graduate, Billy spent most of his life in Dallas, TX, before returning to Waycross in 2024. Billy was married to Carolyn Ann Henderson for nearly 60 years and was a devoted father to Eric Scott Henderson (Dr. Lisa Henderson) and Erin Henderson Moore (Kellen Moore), and a cherished grandfather to William Henderson, Jackson Henderson, and Colin Moore. He is survived by his siblings, Racheal Gail Henderson and Steven (Susie) Henderson.
A lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and lover of travel, good food, people-watching, and spending time with his grandsons, Billy will be remembered as a big personality who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
