MS. DORIS (CARR) MULLINGS

Ms. Doris Faye Carr Mullings was born to the late Mr. Willie B Carr, Sr. and Mrs. Eldora Harris Carr

Doris was born on May 5, 1944, in Waresboro, Georgia. She received her formal education at Hazard Hill school in Waycross, Georgia. Leaving Waycross at an early age, Doris moved to New York City.  After her arrival, she started working as a housemaid. Thereafter, she began working at Kings County Hospital in housekeeping where she dedicated 35 years before retiring. In 2009, Doris returned back to Waycross, Georgia to enjoy her retirement with her family and friends.

Doris was proceeded in death by her children Judy and Gary Davis. She leaves to mourn her: Will B. Carr Jr, Patricia Ann Smith, Robert L Carr, Bennie B Carr, Johnny Carr, and Gloria E. Carr-Waston.
