Mother Cleo Taylor Armstrong departed this life early Saturday Morning, May 15, 2021 after an illness. She was a native of Telmore, Georgia but lived most of her life in Waycross, Ga. Her parents were the late Arthur Taylor and Annie Bell Vereen Taylor. Her husband was the late Deacon Jesse Armstrong.
She was a longtime and faithful member of Big Bethel Freewill Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess and Mother of the Church.
A celebration of life service for Mother Armstrong will be held Saturday May 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Fluker Funeral Home, 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross, GA. with her pastor, Dr. Alonza Scott, officiating. Public visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
