Mother Inez Studivent Obituary

Mother Inez B. Robinson Studivent, the fifth child of Robert James Robinson and Leatha Brinkley Robinson was born January 22, 1919 in Telemore (Ware County), Georgia. After the death of her mother she became one of ten siblings by her father’s second marriage. Her siblings where Robert, Jr., Moses, Rosetta, Charles, Edward, Evelyn, Fermon, Rutha and Louetta.

She attened the schools of Telmore and Waycross, graduating from Center High School as valedictorian of her class.

She became a graduate of Sunlight Beauty School of Cosmetology. After practicing for a period of time, she left for San Diego, CA., where she met the love of her life, Columbus Studivent, and they were joined in holy matrimony on May 3, 1943.

As a sailor’s wife she traveled and lived in many places. After nearly 23 years, they retired and settled in Jacksonville, FL., where she became an LPN and worked in several medical facilities. She also came to Waycross to take care of her 102 year old father until he passed away.

After the death of her husband, she moved back to Waycross in 1990 and reunited with her former church, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and became active in many ministries.

Mother Studvient transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Memorial Satilla Health. Her parents and six siblings preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sisters, Evelyn Robinson, Rutha Mae Jones and Rosetta Robinson all of Waycross; six nephews, Charles Jones Jr. of Augusta, Ga., Cleveland Moore, Rodney Jones, Luther Jones, Everett Robinson all of Waycross and Richard Robinson Jr. of Americus, Ga.; ten nieces, Leatha Jones of Alexandria, Va.,Clara Briant of Hinesville, Ga., Darlene Robinson, Willease Gibson, Charlotte Spears, Luedean Willis all of Waycross, Ga., Blondell Sims of Columbia, S.C., Shiela Jones of Savannah, Ga, Carmen Henderson and Cynthia Knight of Maryland; a sister-in- law, Lillie Mae Robinson of waycross; thirty-seven grand nieces and nephews; god daughter, Geneva Gibbs of Waycroos; numerous of cousins, play-grands, Minister Penelope Taylor and Jann R. Skull both of Waycross,Ga.; and loving and compassionate friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday December 26, 2020 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 702 Arnold McKinney Dr. with her pastor, Rev. Fer-Rell M. Malone, Sr., will be the eulogist. 
Public visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fluker Funeral Home 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross, GA. 

Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Final and most sacred arrangements are entrusted to the professional care of Fluker funeral home, 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross, GA.
