Mr. Calvin Nixon Parker

Mr. Calvin Nixon Parker, age 47, departed this life on May 5, 2021 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on October 19, 1973 in Trenton, NJ to James Nixon & Debra Johnson. He attended public schooling – Brunswick High School.  A dedicated and loving father to many, Calvin was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother.

Calvin leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife – Meniece Parker, Waycross, GA; his father – James Nixon, Michigan; his mother – Deborah Johnson, Brunswick, GA; one son - Chadwick Killens, Waycross, GA; four daughters – Brittany Loftin, Macon, GA; Kimaya Killens, Waycross, GA; Simone King and Christin Parker, Brunswick, GA.; one brother – Michael Parker, Bradenton, FL; one sister - Monica Owens, Philadelphia, PA; father-in-law – Ernest Jones, Sr., Waycross, GA; mother-in-law – Sandra Jones, Waycross, GA; one brother-in-law – Ernest (Lauren) Jones Jr., Waycross, GA; three sisters-in-law -  Akisha (Kenya) Leonard Kirby, Shawana (Andrew) Taylor and Shumeka Jones, Waycross, GA.; two grandsons – Shamonte Knight, TX and Akil Killens, Waycross, GA; three granddaughters – A’Zaria Hillman, Anisley Killens and Paisley Fraizer, Waycross, GA; two Goddaughters – Za’Daria Mangram and Alecia Gardner, Waycross, GA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, & sorrowing friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday May 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith of God Holiness Church, 1509 R.L.  McGee Dr., Waycross, with the church pastor, Bishop Larry Atkinson, officiating. Mr. Parker will be placed in the church at 12 noon for public visitation.

Final and most sacred arrangements are entrusted to the professional care of Fluker Funeral Home, 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross, Georgia.
