Mr. Jessie Williams

Jessie Williams, named after his Paternal grandfather, the late Jessie Williams, was born November 18, 1996 in Waycross, GA to George Williams Sr. and the late Priscilla Rawls Williams. Jessie and two of his closest Siblings were adopted as young boys by their dearest aunt the late Pearlie Mae Davis. 

He received his formal education from the Waycross Public School system and would later earn his General Education Development (G.E.D.) In 2017. 

He is the father of four wonderful children Jordyn Williams, Jessie Williams, Jr., Kyliah Williams, and Kyson Williams. Whom he all Loved dearly.

As a young man he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a member of First Born Congregational in Waycross, GA under the leadership of Pastor Otis Moody. He sang with the youth choir, participated with the youth usher board, as well as Sunday school. 

He was a very loving and caring young man. His good-natured character won a place in the hearts of those privileged to have known him. Jessie loved his family and always greeted them with a nice smile. He was his kids' protector and his brother's keeper. While he faced challenges in his young adult life he never stopped believing in Christ and was determined to always strive for better.

Jessie Williams departed this life on Thursday, April 14, 2022. In addition to his biological mother and adoptive mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Jessie Williams, Louise Pugh Williams and sister Sharah Williams. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving children, two daughters and two sons Jordyn Williams and Jessie Williams Jr. of Waycross, GA; and Kyliah and Kyson Williams of Brunswick, GA; His father, George “Shamrock” Williams Sr. of Waycross, GA; maternal grandparents, Calvin Kite and Frances “Libby” Mildton of Waycross, GA; siblings, Shakila Denson, Shakia Rawls, Myrinn Williams, Gershom Williams, Lajayla Rawls of Waycross, GA; Shonta Carson (Zebulan) of Port St. Lucie, FL; Monte Rivers of Waycross, GA; Sharron Williams, George Williams Jr. of Pompano Beach, FL; Randy Davis, Robin Davis Perry (Renard) of Waycross, GA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends
