Mr. Johnny Jordan Sr. Obituary

Mr. Johnny C. Jordan Sr. was born December 5, 1928 in Folkston, Georgia to the late John Jordan and Josephine Dasher Jordan. He was a life long resident of Charlton County, Georgia.

He was a long time member of Mt. New Home Baptist Church, Folkston, Georgia. He worked as a logger in the timber industry for many years until retirement.

He departed this life on Wednesday morning January 13, 2021 after an illness.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Violet Jordan, Mary Lou Kelly , Luberta Belcher and Joseph Jordan.

Those left to cherish his memory include a devoted and loving wife, Lillie Dell Milton Jordan of Folkston, Ga.; nine children Johnny C. Jordan Jr., Lorreta Maddox (Will) of Kingsland, Ga., Joseph Jordan (Victoria) of Folkston, Ga., Alvin Jordan (Renae) of Virginia, Bernard Jordan of Folkston, Ga. Samantha Hall (Michael) of Folkston, Ga., Claude Jordan (Lisa) of Folkston, Ga. , Deric Jordan (Sheena) of Folkston, Ga and Eric Jordan of Folkston, Ga..; sixteen grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held Sunday January 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Mt. Carmel Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Cemetery Road, Folkston, Ga. with his pastor, Rev. Robert Alderman, giving words of comfort.

Mr. Johnny C. Jordan Sr. was born December 5, 1928 in Folkston (Charlton County), Georgia to the late John Jordan and Josephine Dasher Jordan. He was a life long resident of Charlton County, Georgia.
