Mr. Keenith Lee Williams was born January 1, 1958 in Waycross, Georgia to the late Mrs. Jessie Mae Williams Powden .He received his formal eduation from the Waycross Public School system.
He was affectionately known as “kemmy”, “police” and Shorty.He was a skilled laborer and lived in Savannah, Ga. and Jacksonville, Fl. for many years.
Keenith departed this life on Sunday August 1, 2021 in Memorial Satilla Health, Waycross after an illness. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by two siblings, Michael Tyrone Williams and Clinton Eugene Williams Sr. and his stepfather, Wille “Bubby” Roberson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Deacon Johnny (Bobby) Powden Jr. of Tifton, Ga., Ray Anthony Powden of Miami, Fl. and Keith Plowden of Jacksonville, Fl.; his sisters, Tracie Plowden of Waycross and Teresa Harper; his sister-inlaw, Franciose Williams of Jacksonville, Fl.; his niece and caregiver, Latrice Robinson of Waycross; his step daughter, Latoria Curry (Erice of Atlanta, Ga.; five step grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A graveside committal service will be held Tuesday August 10, 2021 at Hazzard Hill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with his brother Deacon Johnny Plowden Jr. bring words of comfort.
