Mr. Samuel Lewis Patterson

       Mr. Samuel Lewis Patterson was born June 28,1948 to the late Willie “Pat” Patterson and Eddie Mae Davis Patterson in Waycross, GA.

       He received his formal education from the Waycross Public School System and graduated from Center High School with the Class of 1966.

       Mr. Patterson enlisted in the U. S. Navy on June 10,1968 and received the Vietnam Service Medal with three (3) Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device and The National Defense Medal/Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He was honorably discharged on June 9,1974.

       He was married to the late Linda Patterson and to this union they were blessed with one child, Danielle.

       He departed this life on August 10,2021. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda, on August 7,2008 and two brothers, Willie Smith and Rudolph Smith, Sr. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Danielle Nicole Patterson and grandson, Stephon Hampton of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters, Yvonne Seymour, Eddie Kate Green; three brothers, Alphonso (Ronzie) Patterson, Kleartis Patterson all of Waycross, GA, and Lamar (Leila) Patterson of Queens, NY, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

       Memorial services will be announced later.

Final and most sacred arrangements are entrusted to the professional care of Fluker Funeral Home, 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross, GA.
