Mr. Walter Russell Widdifield Jr.

Mr. Walter Russell Widdifield, Jr. was born February 18,1958 in Lynchburg, VA., to the late Walter Russel Widdifield Sr. and Hazel Mary Gibbs Widdifield.

He grew up in a small town called Monroe, VA., where he worked as a lead spinner for Accu Duct Manufacturing (now know as Spinfinity Inc.) for more than twenty years. Walter relocated to Waycross in 2015 where he lived for several years before moving to Valdosta.

On Monday morning November 23, 2020 he departed this life at his residence in Valdosta after an extended illness.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Widdifield Cowart.

Those left to cherish his memory are Mary Potter (Jules), Tonya Widdifield, Timmy D. Cowart Jr. (Chip), Dusty McMillan (Sean), Matthew Widdifield, Katelyn Long, Cameron Bowmen, Kelly Boatright, Owen R. Cowart, Justin T.D. Cowart; several grandchildren; several great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on November 29, 2020 at High Bluff Cemetery in Hoboken, GA. 

Final and most sacred arrangements are entrusted to the professional care of Fluker Funeral Home, 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross, GA.
