Mrs. Barbara Jean (Jernigan) Lee

Sister Barbara J. Lee was born December 30, 1975 in Homerville, GA to William Jernigan and the late Betty Jernigan.

She received her formal education from the St. Johns County Public School System. Sister Barbara accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age. She was loving, full of life, and had a great love for her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

Barbara resided in Jacksonville, Florida. God called her from her earthly home on April 5, 2021 after a short illness. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Fulmore.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Marcellus Lee of Brunswick, Ga; five daughters, Ashley Davis (Sloan), Shenika Bradford(Demarcus), Brittany Gibbs all of Gainesville, Fl, Latravia Bradford (Rarico) of Jacksonville, Fl and Jamea Gibbs of Folkston, Ga; three sons, Deshawnte Bolden (Kiara), Naajee Smith all of Folkston, Ga, and Joshua McBride of Blackshear, Ga; four sisters, Karla King, Rosa Jernigan, and Maria Brown (Charles) all of Folkston, Ga, Lakisha Jernigan of Jesup, Ga; one brother, John Jernigan (Ingram) of Folkston, Georgia; nine grandchildren; three special cousins Brenda Tarber, Sandra Simpson, and Cynthia Jernigan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. 
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Folkston, GA.
