Sis. Irma Lee Noble was born on November 8, 1949 in Charlton County, Georgia to the late Robert Edwards and Linda R. Schulz. She was an only child. She received her formal education from the Charlton County Public School System.
Irma, as she was affectionately called, accepted Christ as he personal Savior and was a longtime and faithful member of The Bethlehem Christian Fellowship Ministry, Inc. in Folkston, Georgia under the leadership of her uncle, Dr. Bobby Roberson.
She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Lawrence Noble in Folkston, Ga. She employed at AJM Packaging Inc. in Folkston, Ga. from 1985 until she retired in 2012..
Irma loved playing spades, spending time with her family and going to church. Any and every one that knew her knew that she as a true fighter and always lived her life to the fullest.
When God saw that she had grown weary of the trouble of this ole world, he called her home to be with him. Irma departed this life on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, James Woodard.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sabrina Edwards (Jerry) and Courtney Woodard both of Folkston, Ga.: seven grandchildren, Alexis Smiley, Angelica Woodard, DeMarcus Williams, Jaquaz Jackson, Ty”Kirria Jackson, Cortaisa Jackson and Jamie Jackson, Jr. all of Folkston, Ga.; two great grandchildren, Jaheim Pollock and Omarion Woodard both of Folkston, Ga.; three close cousins, Patricia Wheeler, Shirley Roberson both of Atlanta, Ga. and Randy Walker of Folkston, Ga.; three God grandchildren, Leah Brown, Messiah Brown and Cameo Johnson all of Folkston, Ga.; very close friends, Eddie McCray and Jamie Jackson both Folkston, Ga.; uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday July 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Carmel Memorial Cemetery in Folkston, Ga. with Dr. Bobby Roberson, pastor of Bethlehem Christian Fellowship Ministry, Folkston, Ga.
