Mrs. Lannie Mingo Gamble was born February 5, 1935 to the late George and Marie Mingo in Homerville, Georgia. She attended yhe public school system in Homerville.
She was married to the late Charles Gamble Sr.and tis union was blessed with six children. She was a former employee of Clinch memorial Hospital in Homerville, Ga..
On February 1, 2021 she departed this life after a brief illness. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three children, Charles Gamble Jr., Bobby Gamble and Core Lee Gamble.
Those left to cherish her memory include children, David Gamble, Jaice Magby (Mark) and Elizabeth Tolbert (John); sixteen grandchildren; sixtynine great grandchildren;silblings, Tim Mingo of Miami, Fl., Willie Mingo (Jessie) of Miami, Fl., Lewis Mingo (Barbara) of Valdosta, Donald Mingo (Carolyn) of Albany, Ga., Vila Pete Miller (Pete) of Homerville, Ga. and Carolyn Cooper (George) of Atlanta, Ga.; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Pine Forest Cemetery Lakeview Drive, Homerville, Ga. with Apostle Glenn King officiating. Public viewing will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fluker Funeral Home 17 Robinson Street, Homerville, Georgia
