Ms. Ellouise Harris Thomas, affectionately known as Dianh, Wheezie Or Sunshine was born February 9, 1941 in Blackshear, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Elise Pate Harris.
She received her formal education from the Pierce County Public School System and graduated from Lee Street High School where she was a member of the girl’s basketball Team.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful servant at Fourth Mount Olive Baptist Church in Blackshear, Georgia where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
On Thursday, February 11, 2021 God called her from her earthly home to her Heavenly home. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death three siblings, Ned Pate, Louvenia McAllister and Clementine Harris.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Mignon Hill (Jeffrey) and Tammy Thomas; eleven grandchildren; two siblings, Isaac Moses (Jacqueline) and Ray Lee (Consuelo); nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A grave side service will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Blackshear City (Bazemore ) Cemetery with her pastor, Rev. Morris Pate, officiating. Public visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fluker Funeral Home 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross, Georgia.
Final and most sacred arrangements are entrusted to the professional care of Fluker Funeral Home, 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross Georgia.
