Ms. Janet Marie Sallet

Ms. Janet Marie Sallet was born October 20, 1961 in Waycross, Georgia to Myrdes Parker Sallet and the late Hebert D. Sallet, Sr. She received her formal education from the Waycross and Ware County School Systems She graduated from Waycross High School in 1980. She continued her education by attend Okefenokee Tech School.

She was the Church Secretary at New Vision Church in Valdosta, Georgia and also attended regularly   Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Waycross under the leadership of Rev. Fer-Rell M. Malone, Sr.

Janet was a very loving and caring person always willing to help anyone. She was loved by everyone who had the privileged   to have known her. She was a former employee of the Waycross Public Library and the family restaurant Pecolas Kitchen in Waycross.

On Friday February 26, 2021 God called her to her heavenly home after a brief illness. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie James Sallet, Billy Joe Salllet and Ivory Lee Sallet.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Myrdes Parker Sallet of Waycross, Ga.; siblings, Ora Sallet Jordon (Minster Henry), Alice M. Sallet (Wayne), Myrdes Sallet Croom, Archie Lee Sallet (Pearl), Wesley Sallet, Hebert Sallet Jr. (Charlotte) all of Waycross, Ga.; aunts, Magalene Parker Brown (Samuel) of Valdosta and Juanita Eason of Brunswick, Ga.; uncle, Johnny Parker of Valdosta, Ga.; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday March 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 702 Arnold McKinney Dr, Waycross,Ga. with Rev. Fer-Rell M. Malone officiating. Public vistitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fluker Funeral Home 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross,Ga.

Interment will be in Waresboro Cemetery, Waresboro, Georgia.

Final and most sacred arrangements are entrusted to the professional care of Fluker Funeral Home.
