The beautiful Masheba Shanta Morris was born in Homerville, Georgia to Sara Johnson Morris and the late Joseph “Shine” Morris on April 24, 1976. She lived most of her life in Waycross, Georgia.
She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Waycross, where she was baptized and accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She always talked about how good God has been to her.
Masheba was a very kind and loving person who was willing to help anyone in their time of need. She loved to do hair and get together with family and friends.
On Sunday morning, May 16, 2021, God called her from her earthly home to her heavenly home after an illness.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Leroy Johnson Sr. and Josephine Parker Johnson; paternal grandparents, Nathan and Earlene Mooris; a brother Kevin Morris and a sister Marshelia “Nay” Morris.
Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter Quadijah Wallace; two sons, Kevin Morris and Deante Morris; her mother, Sara Johnson Morris; two grandchildren, London Wallace and Ketih Harris Jr.; four brothers, William Morris, Timothy Morris (Marilyn), Rico Morris and Joseph “Pompano” Morris; three sisters, Megon Taylor (Sheirod), Tishri Taylor and Ariba Morris-Nembhard (Jason); special friends Ray Dukes and Benny Owens; a host of uncles, uncles, nephew, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends
A graveside service will be held Sunday May 30, 2021 in Pine Forest Cemetery Lakeview Road, Homerville Georgia at 11:00 a.m. with her pastor, Rev. Eric Horne of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church , Waycross, Ga., officiating.
Final and most sacred arrangements are entrusted to the professional care of Fluker Funeral Home, 985 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross, GA.
