SPC Nathaniel James Robertson Jr. affectionately known as “Chuck” was born October 17, 1968, to Maudie Tripp Robertson and Nathaniel James Robertson in Waycross, GA. He departed this life on Thursday September 16, 2021, in Columbia, South Carolina at 12:18 pm.
After joining First Born Church #2 under the leadership of Elder JH. Reid he was introduced to a life of holiness. In 1987 Chuck enlisted into the United States Army and served his country until he was honorably discharged in 1994.
He was proceeded in death by his sister Donna Mane Robertson, maternal grandparents Vethel Sallet Tripp and Meredith D. Tripp and paternal grandparents Deacon Willie and Julia Mae Robertson.
Chuck leaves his legacy to his loving and devoted mother, Maudie Tripp Robertson; father, Nathaniel J. Robertson Sr. (Maxine); his children, Nathaniel J. Robertson III, Natassha Robertson, Navonte Robertson, D’Anne Augustus all of Woodbridge, VA, Nassir Robertson, Nijal Robertson, and Keylei Stevens all of Columbia, SC and his former wife Yvonne Robertson of Woodbridge, VA; two sisters, Regina Yolanda Wallace (Wayne) and Paula Vanessa Robertson both of Waycross, GA; Aunts and Uncles, Marvin Tripp (Kathleen), Melvin Tripp, John Boyd, Annie Lois Jones, Freddie Robertson all of Waycross, GA, Martha Bethea (Kenny), Ethel Williams both of Atlanta, GA ; a Great Aunt, Myrdes Pecola Sallet of Waycross, GA; a special brother Timothy Artis of South Carolina; two special cousins, Jimmy Clark of Orlando, FL and Keina Hayes of Atlanta, GA; nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
