Rodrick Rashun Denson was born January 10, 1975 to the union of Joann Carter Denson and the late Kenneth Edward Denson Sr. in Waycross, Ga.
Rodrick received his formal education from the Ware County Public School System. After high school he moved to Florida. While in Florida, Rodrick became an entrepreneur. He created and sold homemade soaps, colognes and fragrances. In 2009 he decided to take his business skills to Harlem, N.Y.
Many of Rodrick’s friends and family knew him as a kind hearted and spiritual soul. He was also known as a deep thinker. He spent many days reading books to increase his knowledge. His hobbies included; writing poetry, drawing, creating art and reading.
On Sunday, July 12, 2020 God called Rodrick from his earthly home in Harlem, N.Y. to his heavenly home.
Those left to cherish his memory include his significant other, Karen Crowder; five beautiful children, Serenity, Messiah, Zariah, Sharad and Ocean; his mother Joann Carter Denson Wiggins; a stepmother, Ineva Denson; siblings, Eric Members, Kenneth Denson Jr., Darrell Denson and Kim Taylor; aunts, Katie Davis, Debra Carr and Carol Holmes; a host of cousin, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service for Rodrick will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at Hazzard Hill Cemetery with Apostle Leon Carr giving words of comfort.
