SFC (RET.) LAWRENCE BERNARD "LARRY" COCHRAN

SFC (Ret.) Lawrence Bernard Cochran entered into rest on Thursday, May 16, 2024.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Windsor Spring Baptist Church. Interment will be at Hazzard Hill Cemetery, Waycross, GA  on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory: a very devoted wife of 8 years, Maryann; four children: Natalie Cochran of California, Lawrence (CJ) Cochran, Jr., Chase Cochran of Augusta, GA and Kindal Cochran of Jacksonville, FL; three step-children: Shannon Griffin of Fort Worth, TX, Jesse Hendrix, Jr (Gelatia) of Houston, TX, and David Hendrix (Latoya) of Yokota, Japan; three siblings: Gerald G. Burke of Atlanta, GA, Fleece Thornton (Theo) of La Puente, CA, and Denise Johnson (Charles) of Waycross, GA; mother-in-law, Dolores Brule of Syracuse, NY.   Also mourning his passing are ten grandchildren: Elayha N. Cochran of Milledgeville GA, Jayda Griffin and Jayden Henix of Ft. Worth, TX, Jasmyne Hendrix of Shreveport, LA, Matiyas, Nile, and Yara Hendrix of Houston, TX, Kysiem Banks, Shiloh and Sarai Hendrix of Yokota, Japan; 

one favorite aunt, Mary Lou Hall; other aunts and uncles: Barbara Jackson Cooper, Kenneth Jackson, Clarence Jackson, Charles Jackson, Allen Jackson, Morris Jackson, Ernestine Jackson, and Rena Jackson;  three special cousins: Dolly E. Jackson Dorsey of Houston, TX, Phyllis Hall Perry (Ralph) of Waycross, GA, and Shirlean Hall Barber (Chris) of Kingsland, GA; several nieces and nephews.
