Terrance Tyresse Whitley (Maxwell) was born on March 26, 1990 to Maqueda Lashonda Hunt and the late Gregory Allen Maxwell in Saint Marys, Georgia.
He grew up in Folkston, Georgia where he received his formal education from the Charlton County Public School System.
At an early age he was baptized at Saint Matthews Baptist Church and later in life he Joined Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Terrance was also known as “T” to lots of his friends. He worked several different jobs throughout his life. Terrance was loved by so many people, he was a loving, humble, and kind hearted person that everyone loved all over different towns, cities and states and will be truly missed but certainly not forgotten. He will always remain in our hearts for eternity.
On Sunday, March 29, 2020 God saw fit to call Terrance to his heavenly home. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Laura Brown; his paternal great grandparents, Ed and Mabel Brown; his maternal great grandparents, Sammie and Eunice Cobb.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jazzyanna Whitley, Miguel Whitley of St. Marys, Ga., Honestee Parker of Folkston, Ga., Chyna Whitley, Vashon Whitley, Jaliyah Whitley all of Jacksonville, Fl., Lion Whitley; a loving mother, Maqueda Hunt, a devoted step father, Jamie Hunt of Folkston, Ga.; brothers, Richard Dasher of Folkston, Ga., Brandon Anderson, Jeremiah Maxwell both of Jacksonville, Fl.; sisters, Jamila Hunt, Gracie Maxwell both of Folkston, Ga.; grandmother, Cheryl Whitley of Folston, Ga.,; grandfather Nolan Whitley Sr. of Raleigh, N.C.;grandfather, Will Maxwell of Folkston, Ga.; grandfather, Ira Tillman Sr. of Atlanta, Ga.; special uncles, Devaughn Whitley of Kentucky and Nolan Whitley of Folkston, Ga.; specia aunts, Cartena Maxwell, Wanda Aiken both of Folkston, Ga.; uncles, Paige Tillmon Jr., Diron Tillman, Chevaz Tilman; aunt, Monique Tillman of Asbury, N.J.; special friends, Tammy Thompson of Jacksonville, Fl. and Shanquel Moore; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends
A graveside service will be held Saturday April 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Mt. Carmel Memorial Cemetery, Folkston, Ga. with Bishop Van Baker Sr. officiating.
