Mr. Thomas Oden Moody was born July 25, 1950 in Blackshear (Pierce County), Georgia to the late Arthur Lee Moody , Sr. and Elizabeth Walther Moody. He received his formal education from Blackshear Public School System.
Edwards, as he was affectionately known accepted Christ as his personal savior and joined Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Blackshear ,Ga.
He was a member of Johua Lodge #41 of Freemasonry in Blackshear, Ga. He worked and retired from the CSX railroad and also Thom’s Trucking Company in Blackshear. He will be greatest missed by those privilege to have known him,
He departed this life on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at his residence after an illness. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Nunn Cemetery, Bob Bowen Road in Pierce County, Ga. will Rev. Fer-Rell M. Malone Sr. bring words of comfort.
